Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Berkeley Health (“Berkeley Health”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and protects information when you visit berkeleyhealth.agency, contact us, or become a client, and how our internal advertising-management software handles data it accesses through Google APIs, including the Google Ads API.

1. Who we are

Berkeley Health is a digital marketing agency for healthcare and wellness businesses, based in the United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question or request, contact us at max@berkeleyhealth.agency.

2. Information we collect

Website visitors and enquiries. When you contact us or submit an enquiry form, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and message. Our website may also collect standard technical information, such as browser type, pages visited and approximate location, through cookies or similar analytics tools.

Clients. When we work with you, we collect business contact details and the information needed to deliver our services, such as access to your advertising, analytics and website accounts.

Data accessed through Google APIs. Our internal software, Berkeley Health Ads Manager, connects to the Google Ads API using our agency’s own Google account and our Google Ads manager (MCC) account. It accesses only the Google Ads accounts that our clients have linked to our manager account. Through the API, it reads and, with approval, changes:

  • Account, campaign, ad group, keyword, ad and asset settings and their performance metrics (for example impressions, clicks, cost and conversions)

  • Search-term reports, conversion-action settings and bidding settings

  • Account change history, which can include the email addresses of users who made changes in the account

We do not use the Google Ads API to access anyone’s Gmail, Drive, Contacts or other personal Google account data.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to enquiries and provide our services

  • To audit, report on and optimise our clients’ advertising accounts

  • To prepare recommendations and, only after a named person at Berkeley Health approves each individual change, apply changes to a client’s Google Ads account

  • To maintain records of what was changed, when and why

  • To meet legal, accounting and security obligations

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • Google user data is used only to provide and improve the advertising-management service for the client whose account it came from.

  • We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising to individuals, or use it to build user profiles.

  • We do not use Google user data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and we do not allow our service providers to do so.

  • People at Berkeley Health read Google user data only to deliver the service to the client, for security purposes, or to comply with the law.

4. AI-assisted analysis

Berkeley Health Ads Manager uses AI-assisted analysis, provided by Anthropic, to help us review account performance and draft recommendations and change proposals. Data is sent to the AI provider only to carry out that analysis, under commercial terms that do not permit the provider to train its models on our data. AI tools never apply changes to an advertising account on their own: every change needs explicit approval from a person at Berkeley Health first.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal data. We share information only:

  • With the client who owns the data, for example in reports

  • With service providers who help us run our business and services, such as cloud hosting, code hosting, email, AI analysis and keyword-research tools. They act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

  • When required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public

Google user data is never shared with third parties except as described above to provide the service to the client the data belongs to.

6. Storage and security

  • Credentials for Google APIs are stored only on secured company devices, outside our code repositories, and are never shared with clients or third parties.

  • Reports and records generated from client data are stored in access-restricted private systems available only to Berkeley Health staff working on that client.

  • Changes to client accounts go through a gated approval process with single-use, time-limited execution tokens.

No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep client data for as long as we manage the relevant account, and for up to 24 months after the relationship ends for record-keeping, unless the law requires otherwise. Clients can ask us to delete their data sooner by emailing max@berkeleyhealth.agency, and we will do so within 30 days, except where we must keep it by law.

8. Revoking access

Clients can remove Berkeley Health’s access at any time by unlinking their Google Ads account from our manager account in Google Ads.

Anyone who has granted our application access to a Google account can revoke it at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Once access is removed, our software can no longer access that account’s data.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To make a request, email max@berkeleyhealth.agency. We will respond within 30 days. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

10. International transfers

We and our service providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where we do, we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

11. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date.
